 *Shrill sounds of an alarm pierced the quiet and still dark room, drawing a groan from under the covers that a figure was so contently wrapped under. The ragged and lumpy blankets moved and protested heavily, sagging in defeat when an arm reached out and silenced the alarm. Sitting up, the half toned haired male yawned and stretched, pouting at the time.*

*He hated waking up this early for his shitty job in this crummy city barely making enough to live without having to look for an owner. That was one thing he was never going to do. His ears twitched and he shook his head as he got up from the bed and set to getting ready for work. It was some factory job that employed his kind, with hardly any pay though.*

*Grumbling softly, he pulled his clothes on and shoes on at the door before heading out, ruffling his hair and stroking the fur down on his tail before heading out. He found it hard to find work anywhere else, what with his full breed status and having come from a village of free hybrids of wild animals. People feared they could go feral at any minute, but it was untrue. His kind was treated harsher because of this and had stricter laws in place. He tugged at the collar around his neck, red tag to shoe his status and danger if he went feral.*

*When he got to work, he clocked in and pulled on the protective gear for work and started his shift. It was a recycling plant and he worked in the sorting area, sorting out the different types of containers and getting the mess all over him. He had dreams and aspirations, but he never thought he would end up like this, stuck in this life and unable to go back home. His village was assimilated into the city and left abandoned. At least he had friends at work that weren't afraid of him.*

Hey, Hanbin, we still going for drinks?

'Sure, just don't scare off any good looking guys this time.'

*Laughing at his friends words, he shook his head and smiled. The poor bird hybrid got scared after seeing his collar. He should have expected it, Petroica rodinogaster was usually a flighty type of hybrid.*

*Dongwook groaned pushing in slowly inch by inch. He licked his lips when he finally bottomed out giving the boy a chance to adjust.*

Hearing the words he looked down at Jonghyun again his eyes wide in suprise as he moved to wipe away the tears.*

*Dongwook asked as he leaned down kissing Jonghyun softly. He knew what he felt and that he was doing things with Jonghyun he never would have done before. He gently pulled out before getting up and going to get a cloth to clean them.

He gently cleaned the wolf before laying back down beside him. He pulled the younger into his arms before he spoke again.*

So we're like married now?

It's hard to explain, it was really hard for me to understand when they told me, but as I got older, the more I started to get it.

*He said with a soft smile, snuggling up to Dongwook. It was a lot to take in, he couldn't blame him, but he knew the more that the elder lived with them, he would understand. At the question, he laughed softly and smiled brightly with a shrug.*

Kind of? We can still have a ceremony when you're ready, but we will have a connection once I mark you. The spot where you bit me is where mates bite to show their marks of companionship. I can either choose to bite you, or mark your skin somehow. The elders can make a tattoo there that will have the same affect.

*Dongwook smiled softly at his new mate not caring if he sounded stupid or not. He lightly touched the faint bite marks he had left on Jonghyun before touching the same place on himself. Part of him was afraid to be bitten knowing hybrid teeth tended to be sharper than human's. He tilted his head exposing his neck more.*

But real mates bite, if you want to you can bite me I trust you not to hurt me.

*He said with a smile as he leaned in to press a soft kiss to the spot that Dongwook had been touching on his neck. He licked at it gently before he nibbled on it, getting Dongwook to the sensation before he bit down on the spot. He was careful about the bite as he held it for a moment, feeling the connection in them complete. Pulling back, he licked the wound carefully and smiled up to the elder.*

There, complete. I have a first aid kit in the bathroom, if you need it.

*Dongwook was nervous even though he asked for it, he let his eyes close bracing himself for the pain. He tried to relax a bit at the nibbles since it wasn't bad, but clenched his jaw when he felt the sting of the bite. It felt like electricity was shooting through him from the mark as he opened his eyes. He touched it to check how much it was bleeding.*

I think it will be okay without it, it's not bleeding bad.

*Dongwook smiled at him softly a teasing light in his eyes as he spoke again.*

So are you disappointed now that you can see me?

*Jonghyun chuckled and moved to hug Jonghyun tight, snuggling up to the elder. He knew the other would feel the connection and it made his vision clearer as well.*

No, you're even more handsome in person than what I saw in visions and through hyung's eyes.

*He said with a grin as he leaned up to kiss Dongwook gently, his ears pressed back happily as he relaxed more.*

We can tell hyung later, I can't wait to see his face and I really wanna see the babies.

*Dongwook cuddled Jonghyun close to him placing a kiss on the boy's head.*

*he smiles returning the kiss as he let out a soft hum.*

We can go visit them later, Bae and Jiwon are probably still asleep. He bakes are adorable you are going to love them more than you already do.

*He started to him softly knowing his new mate needed to rest a bit.*

*Jonghyun smiled softly and rested his head on Dongwook's chest, listening to him hum as he closed his eyes. He wasn't afraid of the dark, nor did he feel that frustration about not being able to see the world. He felt like he could go out and see the world now, so long as Dongwook was at his side. Wherever his mate was, he was home.*

*Jiwon and Bae managed to sleep for a few hours comfortably, waking only to feed and change the babies before falling back to sleep with one another. Jiwon was the first to wake, yawning and stretching as he listened to the pups and cubs crawling around and making soft noises. His stomach growled and he groaned, looking over to Bae. At some point, Hanbin has brought their supplies to the house put them away, so they had food. Especially kimchi that the nice ajuma's of the village gave them as a welcoming gift. Finally sitting up, Jiwon rubbed his eyes and stretched again before reaching over to gently shake Bae awake.*

Babe... wake up. I'm hungry...

*Dongwook relaxed one of his hands gently playing with Jinghyun's hair as he continued to hum. He felt at peace and at home for the first time in his life. He let himself drift off to sleep cuddling his mate.*

*Bae had happily helped his mate feed and change their children stealing a kiss as they headed back to bed. He groaned curling up more wanting some more sleep when his mate tried to awaken him. He slowly opened his eyes and sat up rubbing his eyes to wake up as he nodded he was hungry too.*

Want to eat in bed?

*he asked his mate as he moved slowly getting up from the bed.*

Yeah, the babies are gonna want to eat soon too.

*Jiwon said with a yawn as he gathered the wriggling offspring together and stroked their heads before giving them all kisses.*

I can't wait to see how things went for those two. I wanna bundle up tomorrow and see what the village is like.

*Jiwon said with a soft grin as he fussed with the babies, fixing their clothes and ears and hair, cooing softly to them to calm them.*

*Bae smiled leaning over to steal a kiss from Jiwon smiling at his little family. he winked at Jiwon when he mentioned being curious about Jonghyun and Dongwook.*

What did we do when we realized we were mate's?

*He teased playfully nodding.*

We can bundle up the babies or maybe we can get Hyung and Jonghyun to watch them.

*he stole another kiss before heading out to the kitchen not knowing what they even had to work with.*

*He said with a soft flush to his cheeks as he chuckled. Jiwon was thankful that Bae could cook, he was terrable at it, he only knew how to heat things up with the microwave, maybe even how to boil it on the stove.*

Do you think they gave us any pork? Kimchi pork buns sound really amazing right now...

*He said as he stood from the blankets before gathering up the babies to change and wash them.*

*Bae gathered what he needed knowing if they didn't have pork he'd find a way to get some. Luckily for him they had some so he went silent as he started to make the dish his mate wanted.*

*Jiwon didn't have any trouble with the babies as he bathed them in a small heated bath or as he changed them into clean diapers. Already he could tell they were growing, they were becoming bigger by the day. When they were all cleaned up and dried, he took them with him to the kitchen where he could smell the dough of the buns proofing.*

It already smells good. They were so kind to give us this stuff to help us get settled into the village for the first few days.

*He smiled softly as he moved over to watch Bae start to put the buns together. He knew the elder wanted to explore more of the village and to see the elders, they would have known more about his mates mother and he would want to spend time with Jonghyun as well, one of the very few living siblings left. He smiled at the thought of Bae finally being home where he wanted to be, so he didn't mind if the elder wanted to do this alone. He knew how sensitive the topic was to the man, so he would support him however the elder needed him to.*

So... I figure you probably want to talk to the elders more. I can stay home here with Hanbin when you want to go, if you want to go alone.
