Rebellion

*Shrill sounds of an alarm pierced the quiet and still dark room, drawing a groan from under the covers that a figure was so contently wrapped under. The ragged and lumpy blankets moved and protested heavily, sagging in defeat when an arm reached out and silenced the alarm. Sitting up, the half toned haired male yawned and stretched, pouting at the time.*

*He hated waking up this early for his shitty job in this crummy city barely making enough to live without having to look for an owner. That was one thing he was never going to do. His ears twitched and he shook his head as he got up from the bed and set to getting ready for work. It was some factory job that employed his kind, with hardly any pay though.*

*Grumbling softly, he pulled his clothes on and shoes on at the door before heading out, ruffling his hair and stroking the fur down on his tail before heading out. He found it hard to find work anywhere else, what with his full breed status and having come from a village of free hybrids of wild animals. People feared they could go feral at any minute, but it was untrue. His kind was treated harsher because of this and had stricter laws in place. He tugged at the collar around his neck, red tag to shoe his status and danger if he went feral.*

*When he got to work, he clocked in and pulled on the protective gear for work and started his shift. It was a recycling plant and he worked in the sorting area, sorting out the different types of containers and getting the mess all over him. He had dreams and aspirations, but he never thought he would end up like this, stuck in this life and unable to go back home. His village was assimilated into the city and left abandoned. At least he had friends at work that weren't afraid of him.*

Hey, Hanbin, we still going for drinks?

'Sure, just don't scare off any good looking guys this time.'

*Laughing at his friends words, he shook his head and smiled. The poor bird hybrid got scared after seeing his collar. He should have expected it, Petroica rodinogaster was usually a flighty type of hybrid.*

I promise I won't scare anyone off, but you know bird types are flighty and scare easily.

*Jiwon wanted to protest, but all that left his mouth was a yawn. He pouted slightly and took another bite of the rabbit as he conceded to Bae's wishes. He just wasn't used to this, but he knew with time he would be thanking Bae for every moment he allowed him that kindness of extra rest. Hanbin protested about not being able to help the watch, but he gave up and decided his duty would be to look after Jiwon while Bae would be on watch.*

I have a feeling I'll be thanking you later. My mom used to tell me when I was little that I would keep her awake sometimes when she was pregnant with me. That and the hunger craving.

*He said with a soft smile as he leaned his head up to press a kiss to Bae's chin before feeding him another snack. He ate one as well as he smiled up to his mate, enjoying this closeness and the light conversation that killed about them. Hanbin stretched and groaned as he popped his back slightly before going to their packs and started to unroll their sleeping bags and blankets.*

I managed to bring an extra pillow for your belly when you get bigger, Jiwon. A friend told me the best thing to do is to keep it propped up and comfortable while you sleep. She had three litters already.

*Jiwon nodded with a smile and felt his eyes start to close once more. He yawned and opened his eyes again slowly before he gave Bae more food after eating more snacks. He ate more of the food until he was sufficiently full and found it hard to keep his eyes open.*

Daddy... sleepy...

*He mumbled sleepily as he snuggled up to Bae with a soft sigh. He was too tired to really care how he addressed Bae, he was just tired and needed sleep. Jiwon hoped Bae would come to bed with him and keep him warm and comfortable.*

*Bae was content with his mate in his arms eating small bites until he to was full. Growing tired himself he yawned as he carefully stood up shifting jiwon into his arms.*

We take our leave then, good night Dongwook-Hyung and Hanbin. Wake me up in a couple hours when it's time for my watch Hyung.

*Dongwook just bummed as Bae carried Jiwon to the tent laying down shifting his mate to lay beside him on the sleeping bag. He wasn't sure when his mates friend would join them in the tent so he placed a soft kiss on his mates lips.*

Good night my lover.

[Gonna skip some time here. :3 Gonna get some of the journey out of the way.]

*Things had been going well for their journey they had taken a safe rout, half of the journey was done. Jiwon was starting to show more, it was obvious that he was pregnant and he could feel the cubs/pups moving when he would get restless.*

*He had been dreaming lately as well, vivid dreams of a white haired wolf hybrid standing on the top of a snowy slope, a black blindfold over his eyes, but he could swear the man was looking at him. When he would have rose dreams, he felt strange, oddly content and at home. Like he was being watched over.*

*Jiwon was unsure how to tell Bae about his dreams, he didn't want to bother his mate with more than what he had to. He was getting hungrier more, which made them have to hunt more and take breaks during their journey just for him to eat or rest.*

*When they stopped to make camp, Jiwon sat on a lot and watched the others make up camp while he helped Hanbin prepare the dinner with leftovers from their previous hunt that day.*

Bae, I have a curious question for you... Have you been having any dreams at all?

*What he didn't know was that the white wolf was Bae's younger brother, visiting him and Bae during their dreams. The younger had been a seer, though he himself was blind, he had visions and could dream walk, seeing things in people's dreams. It was how he knew Bae and Jiwon were making their way, sometimes showing Bae any potential dangers that they would have to look out for.*

*The closer they got to their destination the calmer Bae was. He was a spiritual man and trusted the dreams to lead them to safety. He didn't know who the wolf was but he felt familiar to Bae. He hadn't mentioned the dreams to anyone even when Dongwook had questioned Bae about him throwing the rebellion phone into a lake. He had just answered they didn't bed the directions anymore.

He was working on building their fire when Jiwon spoke to him, he bit his lip as he took a seat next to his mate.*

I don't want to sound crazy or worry you but yes I have. The dreams are giving me directions and warning me about dangers.

*he looked at his mate pursing his lips.*

Have you had any weird dreams?

*Jiwon hummed as he listened to Bae, it was strange and close to what he had been experiencing. He didn't want Bae to worry about him and think he was going crazy as well.*

I didn't want you to worry about me, but... yeah, I have been having weird dreams too. I keep seeing a blind folded white haired wolf hybrid on a snowy hill in the mountains...

*He explained as he tried to recall his recent dream. It was so vivid and real to him, but he knew it was a dream, he didn't feel the cold of the snow or air around them or the wind on his skin.*

He would speak softly to me or hum and sing gently, reassuring me, saying we will get there safely. He says he knows you, but you don't remember him...

*Jiwon frowned and shook his head, he knew he was sounding crazy, but he was glad he wasn't alone in this. He was also relieved that Hanbin and Dongwook were busy and not able to listen to his and Bae's private conversation.*

*Bae sighed as he picked up a stick and started to sharpen it to look busy. They were dreaming of the same wolf, If only Bae knew who it was. He shook his head before turning to look at jiwon again.*

It's a member of my family I can feel that in my very soul, I just don't recognize them. At first I thought it was mother.

*Bae admitted as he looked down at the fire part of him had been worried it was a trap, but jiwon having the dreams to made him feel better. He poked at it a few times as he slipped an arm around his mate.*

I was honestly afraid it was a trap at first, that's why I was hesitant when I started guiding us using his directions. If we meet him when we arrive I hope we get the chance to thank them, he has helped us avoid being caught a few times.

*Jiwon snuggled into Bae's side as the elder held him close. He smiled softly, glad that Bae was connecting with his family some how and would be reunited with one of them. He leaned up to press a kiss to Bae's cheek and reated his head on the elders shoulder.*

I wonder if this way will be faster. I don't want to give birth before we get there...

*He took Bae's hand and placed it on his stomach where one of the babies had been moving. Jiwon smiled more as he looked up at the elder, he knew they would be safe soon. It was one of the things that kept him calm and from lashing out if anyone got too close to him. Hanbin was helping him keep calm as well with just being his usual self and keeping am eye on him.*

Thank you for being patient with me, I know we've had to stop a few times when I was uncomfortable or needed a break. Or when we needed to hunt. I feel like all I want to do is eat.

We should be but even if we aren't we will all help you bring our young into the world.

*Bae grinned feeling the baby move under his hand love shined through the tiredness in his eyes. He was already attached to the young growing inside his mate already loved them with his entire soul. He leaned in placing a soft kiss on jiwon's lips before shaking his head.*

My love you don't have to thank me, I promised when I gave you my mark and my knot for the first time that I would always fullfil your needs.

*He forgot for a moment that they were not alone until he heard a fake groan from Dongwook.*

You do know we can hear you right? And I don't mean to speak for Hanbin here but we don't want to hear about your dick Bae.

*He rolled his eyes at the elder the moment between him in his mate broken even as his hand gently rubbed circles into his mates pregnant belly.*

You're just jealous Bae's getting ass and you're not.

*Jiwon said with a cheeky grin as he leaned into his mate more. Hanbin made a gagging noise as well and wrinkled his nose, earning a middle finger from the pregnant hybrid.*

As impressive as your dick sounds, I kinda don't wanna hear about it and my friend getting it on with it. Hearing it is enough.

*Hanbin joked with a laugh, seeing his friend flush darkly as he pouted in his mates arms. He shrugged it off though as his friend handed him some snacks to nibble on while they waited for food to cook.*

Anyway, I really appreciate everything you all are doing, and I know Hanbin does too. Things have been going easier now and so far we haven't been snared in traps or anything. I wonder how much longer it will be until we reach the pass up into the mountains.

*Jiwon mused as he nibbled on the snacks, offering a chip to Bae as he watched Hanbin cleaning the skin from their hunt that was currently cooking over the flame on an iron grill they managed to acquire on their trip. It smelled so good and he couldn't wait to eat.*

*Bae grinned at their traveling partners as Dongwook sat down across from the fire tending the food so it didn't burn. He blushed slightly at the comment about Hanbin having heard them having sex.*

A couple of days unless the plans change.

*Bae answered before eating the chip playfully nipping at Jiwon's fingers. Dongwook nodded looking at the two young men and his oldest friend.*

Once your up the mountain safetly I guess that's when I say goodbye. I just wanted to make sure you all got there.

Hyung no! i don't care what the other hybrids up there say but you're my family to. I want you to stay with us.

Yeah, don't leave us. I'm sure you can prove it to them that you mean no harm.

*Jiwon said with a pout. He had grown used to the elder and didn't want him to leave their company. Dongwook was family, part of their unusual pack.*

Yeah! Besides, if hyung's family helped make the village and he trusts you, then that means they should trust you, too.

*Hanbin chipped in as he stretched the skin over a tanning rack. When he spotted a big piece of meat he placed on the fire before the others was fully cooked, he picked it up with his chopsticks and placed it on a plate before passing it to Jiwon. Smiling and thanking the other, he took a bite of the mouthwatering meat. With a soft moan at the taste, he tore a piece off for Bae and offered it to his mate.*

We are family, nothing will separate us. We all came together under our own tragic circumstances and still found room for each other to fall one another family. I won't let anything take that away.

*Bae nodded in agreement taking the small bite as Dongwook turned his head away for a moment. His friend's kind words went straight to his heart making him tear up. He turned his head back when the food was done passing a plate to Jiwon and Hanbin before making his own.*

If they allow it I'll stay.

they will Hyung you are not like other humans.

*he reluctantly let go of Jiwon taking his own plate after handing out the canteens again. Bae knew in his heart the human would be allowed if not the one guiding him would have told him to ditch Dongwook. Dongwook ate in silence as Bae picked at his food his senses on high alert.*

I think it will be a lovely night to sleep out under the stars.

*bae said randomly before shoving a piece of meat in his mouth.*

*Jiwon ate his food happily as his friends spoke. Hanbin snuck him some kimchi he had brought along and smiled at the glee filled sound the black leopard hybrid made. Jiwon ate some, offering some to Bae by placing some on his plate before he passed it back to Hanbin with thanks.*

That sounds really nice. I would love to sleep under the stars.

*He said with a soft smile and leaned in to press a kiss to his mates cheek before he resumed eating. Hanbin nodded in agreement as he offered the coveted kimchi to Dongwook as well.*

It does. Tonight shouldn't be as cold either, it was nice all day.

*The fox hybrid pointed out as he ate his food. When he finished, he took a drink of water from a canteen before he set to starting to set up some of the bedding to sleep outside. Jiwon finished his own food as setting the plates down to be washed as he relaxed in his seat once more.*

When the pups and cubs are toddlers, I want to take them out and camp like this, if things are better.

*Jiwon said as he placed a hand on his stomach and looked up to the sky. The tree tops covered them, but he could still make out some of the stars in the clear sky.*

We're not going to have very many chances to do it.

*Dongwook agreed as he finished his food before moving to help Hanbin set up their camp. Bae ate a little more before taking a drink of the water he was thankful for every moment the other two did things to allow him to spend more time next to his mate.*

We will my love, I am sure they will love it.

*he wrapped his arm around his mate after finishing his food.*

I love you all so much.

*he said including Dongwook, Hanbin and his unborn children in his words. He paused for a moment before adding.*

Not to be weird or anything.

*Jiwon purred softly as he nuzzled up to his mate, turning to give him affectionate licks and to groom him instinctively. He turned to face Bae and nuzzled into his neck and closed his eyes with a content sigh.*

*Hanbin chuckled as he finished with the bedding before placing some pillows down for Jiwon to hold for his belly.*

Nah, it's not weird. We're all family now, like Jiwon said earlier.

*He said with a grin before he moved to settle into his bedding. Curling his tail around himself, he looked up to the tree top covered sky, a sense of calm coming over them easily.*

*Jiwon yawned, starting to feel drowsy as he settled in Bae's lap more. He couldn't wait to get to their new home. As he was starting to drift, a soft melody was being hummed to him, a soft voice calming him in his head as he hugged Bae close.*

*Before letting himself drift off, he looked up to the sky. It was beautiful, even more than he could remember. The stars were littering the sky in massive clusters, unhindered by the light pollution from the city. Smiling softly, he looked back to Bae, a tired expression laced with contentment and happiness painting his features as he nuzzled up to his lover.*

It's so beautiful. I'm so glad we can see the stars now, I missed them so much.

[Sorry for dropping off like I did I had to work a lot of double shifts at work lately and I've been sick.]

*Bae was relieved a soft smile stretching his lips as he let Jiwon groom him. He rested a hand on Jiwon's stomach gently rubbing it as he held his mate in his arms. He looked down placing a soft kiss on jiwon's forehead.*

It's almost as beautiful as you my love.

*knowing his mate needed sleep Bae carefully stood up his arms around his mate holding him steady. He carried Jiwon over to the bedding laying his mate down before laying down beside him once his mate was comfortable.*

Let's watch the stars before we sleep.

*he whispered to his mate before nodding at Dongwook, Bae himself would be taking first watch tonight but he always held his mate until he went to sleep. As he looked at the stars he let his mind wonder to the wolf that was guiding them. He was planning on trying to get answers tonight if possible.*

And now life sucks major ass, Jonghyun from Shines commuted suicide and I'm super upset by it.

[Its cool, dood. Things have been super hectic at work for me too, and noona has family over staying with us. I've been responding when I can and all lol, but I'm making it work out. I had been departing on claiming edawn from Pentagon, but I might not, everyone seems a bit stretched right now, I might later when things aren't as crazy. Hope you're feeling better, tho. Did you get the flu or just a cold?]

*Jiwon flushed at the compliment and snuggled up to Bae. He wasn't often complimented like this, but it felt nice. He himself thought that he was ugly, but Bae was starting to push that thought slowly from his mind.*

*Hanbin laid next to them, pointing out some of the stars that were planets before Jiwon pointed out the different constellations. It didn't take much for Jiwon to drift off to a peaceful slumber, his dreams filled with nice things.*

*As the night went on, the white wolf hybrid did visit them again in their dreams. He told Bae of a path that would lead them a safer rout that their mother often used when traveling. This time, he lingered in the elders dreams, willing to answer the questions he had and wanting to reconnect with his lost brother. He missed their kin, having lost some when their mother and father were killed, while others had went off and formed their own packs further north where it was safe.*

[i'm thinking its a really bad cold although at the beginning it could have been a touch of flu but idk I don't go to the dr unless I can't eat or drink anything lol.]

*Bae snuck out of bed as soon as Jiwon was alseep to take his watch. As Dongwook settled down in bed Bae sat near them his eyes closed as he mediated trying to connect to his spiritual side.

It wasn't long until the familiar safe feeling filled his thoughts. His eyes still closed he pulled a paper out of his pocket and wrote down the directions given to him. He opened an eye looking at what he wrote to make sure it was right before closing it again focusing on the white wolf.*

Who are you and why are you helping us reach safety? I don't mean to be rude I do appreciate the directions and warnings you've given me. I just don't know you even though you feel familiar to me.

*The white wolf gave an airy laugh as he wandered through Bae's dreams, having showed himself to the other many times before. With a bright smile, he hummed softly.*

I don't know if I should be mad or relieved right now. I'm offended that you don't recognize your own brother, though.

*He said with a grin in his voice. Jonghyun wasn't mad that Bae didn't recognize him, but he was relieved that his elder brother was listening to his directions.*

You would always hold my hand when we would travel so I wouldn't be left behind, you would never make fun of me or think less of me because blindness. You always coddled me until Umma sensed danger and carried me around. She said it wasn't safe for me to be behind like that.

*He explained before he started to hum again softly. It was a tune their mother would sing to them, one he memorized and would hum to himself when he was anxious or upset.*

She was so sad and upset when she saved you... they almost caught one of our siblings before she gave them you and said you were orphaned. She was saving you from a fate of the mistreated hybrids and also keeping us safe. She really wanted to see you again...

Brother... I am sorry we were both so young when Umma gave me up. I knew you were familiar your name was just buried deep in my memories forgive me Jonghyun.

*Bae felt a tear fall down his cheek as he recognized the tune the white wolf was humming. He missed his family horribly but he was happy to be wrong about them all being long gone.*

I know back then I was hurt she gave me up but as I aged I understood. When I settled down finally I went to go get her and bring her to live with me but she was already gone. I thought you all were gone brother.

*Bae's mental voice shook with sadness as he talked about his mother to his little brother. He knew they didn't have much time to talk so he asked a final question that was burning within him.*

I would tease you about running through my mate's dreams but you are helping keep him calm so I am thankful. We are traveling with a human who is very dear to my heart will he be allowed to stay with us once we arrive?

*Jonghyun cooed soothingly to his brother as he sensed his emotions. He had done a little prodding and had seen things about this man his brother wad talking about and hummed in thought.*

You will have to speak to the elders, but from what I have seen in your dreams and memories, I trust him.

*He said as he tried to ease his brothers worried thoughts. He knew Bae was worried and a bit stressed about this adventure, but Jonghyun was trying his best to help sooth him as well as his mate.*

They are building you a home here for you and your mate. They plan to make it bug enough for your new family as well. Your friends will be given places that they can stay in as well, if you don't want them living with you. You don't have to worry about a thing, hyung.

*Bae let out a soft sigh as he allowed his brother to help him relax. He was thankful for everything the white wolf had done for him already. The point when he started guiding them Bae was ready to give up hope they would ever reach the safe area.*

Thank you brother, you have done so much for me, my mate and our friends. I don't know how I'll ever repay you for everything. I hope we reach you before the pups were born.

*Hearing Dongwook start to stir he started to let his focus slide on his connection to his brother.*

Forgive me brother but I must go now my watch is over I must rejoin my mate now. Thank you for talking to me tonight.

[I'm gonna skip a bit of time, but do you think Jiwon should have his babies before he gets there or after they get there?]

Get some rest, hyung. I'll see you in your dreams.

*Jonghyun let Bae break the connection as he went back to Jiwon's dreams, belong to keep the young leopard calm. He wasn't sure when the birth would take place, but all he could do was help sooth Jiwon so he wouldn't be stressed.*

*Jiwon was sleeping peacefully and snuggled up to Bae when he came to his side. His dreams were light and happy, keeping him content thanks to the friendly and happy wolf looking after them. It helped keep him at ease and the babies calm at night and during their travels.*

[Honestly with the history of both we've laid out I think they should be there when he has them knowing they will all be safe but I can see the other way to they almost make it but the stress finally gets to Jiwon sending him into labor. Either way Bae is going to be a freaking mess and trying to help and protect them. Lol so yeah either way :)]

*Bae slept through the rest of the night Jiwon wrapped protectively in his arms. The next morning Bae awoke with a smile to the smell of breakfast cooking. He nuzzled his nose into jiwon's neck not wanting to get up yet. He wasn't sure if he should reveal to his mate who the wolf guiding them was. He finally forced himself to get up a few minutes later and went off to hunt a bit and gather more water for the next leg of their trip.*

[I think I know of what to do, it's gonna be like, a mix of both. He can go into contractions and labor pains, so Bae can carry him the rest of the way and they see that Jonghyun is waiting with a doctor and some people to take him to the medical hut and such where he can safely have the babies with Bae allowed to help.]

*Jiwon nuzzled up to Bae when he felt his mate nuzzle and nose his neck soothingly. He felt the elder leave their nest of bedding and blankets, hearing the light conversation and foot falls off into the woods before he slowly started to rouse from his sleep.*

*With a yawn, he rubbed his eyes and pouted, holding the pillow close as he sat up with a little struggle. Hanbin smiled to him and helped him stand and had him sit by the fire while they made breakfast.*

I managed to trade some pelts and a little bit of meat for some eggs, I figured you could use them. I got a lot in case you and the pups were really hungry.

*Hanbin offered him a generously filled plate with a smile which he gratefully took. With a smile and thanks, Jiwon started to eat his breakfast. He kept a ear out for Bae as his tail flicked and he relaxed by the fire, rested from the night.*

I might end up taking a lot of pee breaks, I feel like they're taking turns sitting on my bladder.
